Home foreclosures, job loss, and staggering medical bills are forcing more and more people onto the streets and through OPCC's doors. And the tragic thing is, while financial institutions, insurance giants and automakers are being handed billions in bailout funds, nonprofit organizations such as OPCC tasked with serving the human casualties resulting from this unprecedented economic crisis, are expected to expand services with less money. As we prepare to meet these increased demands for our services, and continue fulfilling our mission of empowering people to rebuild their lives, we simply can’t do it alone.
