Share Your Caring!

If we all do a little, we can accomplish a lot.

Homelessness, domestic violence and mental illness are community problems that require a community response. By working together we can each do our part to work towards a solution. It takes everyone, doing what they can, big or small.

This holiday season we ask you to join OPCC in our efforts by doing what you can, big or small, to make the holidays brighter for those who are challenged by homelessness, domestic violence and mental illness.

See our handy list below for ideas on how you can participate in our holiday season outreach and please, by all means, share your caring.

Donate gift cards to discount retail clothing stores (Target, Ross, Loehmans, Wal-Mart etc.) so that we can purchase new coats and jackets to keep our clients warm and/or new business clothing for our clients to wear on their next job interview.

Collect all those little bottles of shampoo, mini soap bars and lotion that you saved from hotel visits and let us give them to our clients for their personal hygiene. Or collect canned or packaged food items to be put to good use in our food pantry for needy families.

At this time of year, we need extra storage space.

Volunteer your time and talents to help us serve over 800 clients we serve each week.

Get trained to be a volunteer who helps those who call our 24 hour domestic violence crisis line.

See our wish list here.

Donated items can be dropped off at our administrative offices located at 1453 16th Street in Santa Monica, Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm. If you have questions about what we accept and what we need, please contact the development office at (310) 264-6646.

Thank you.
