Campion Mental Health Center provides a monthly in-service training program for mental health clinicians in the local community. Interns and students are also welcome to attend, as are OPCC staff that provide clinical services. The speakers are drawn from the community, and come from a variety of settings: mental health training institutes, community mental health centers, hospitals, private practice and other non-profit community organizations. A wide variety of topics are presented that are pertinent to the growth and development of the mental health community, and to the clients we serve here at Campion and OPCC. These topics include Cognitive Behavioral Treatment of Post-Traumatic Disorder, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Harm Reduction and Substance Abuse, Treatment of Narcissistic Personalities and Collaborative Supervision.
