If you are feeling suicidal, or thinking of hurting yourself in any way, please call the local suicide prevention center at 1.877.727.4747. If you feel you are in immediate danger of hurting yourself, call 911.
If you think you may need help but are not in immediate crisis, you have several different options. You may choose to receive services at a community mental health center such as OPCC’s Campion Mental Health Center. Call 310-828-6007 to learn more about Campion’s services and whether they may be appropriate for you. While Campion treats people with a wide variety of mental health issues, the therapists have a special expertise in treating people who have experienced trauma and/or abuse, including people who have experienced homelessness, domestic violence and childhood physical and sexual abuse. Campion’s services, similar to other community mental health centers, are provided on a sliding scale. Campion also accepts several kinds of insurance, and is a provider for the State of California Victims of Crime program.
