Services to Veterans

Approximately 6,000 Veterans sleep on Los Angeles' streets on any given night.

OPCC is committed to providing safe, secure housing and optimized services for the men and women who have served our country. OPCC was a lead collaborator in Project 60, a pilot launched in February 2011 that aimed to place 60 of the most vulnerable, chronically homeless Veterans in permanent supportive housing.

Achieving quick success, OPCC and its collaborators on the project housed 60 individuals in under one year. The Project was then revised to a goal of housing 120 Veterans; at the last recent count, OPCC and its partners had housed 84 formerly homeless Veterans.

We will continue our commitment to improve the quality of life for the individuals who have stepped up to provide safety and security to all of us.
