Show Your Support!
On November 8th, over 77% of voters in the City of Los Angeles voted to approve funding to build 10,000 units of supportive housing for the homeless. Providing access to supportive housing is crucial but it’s only part of the solution.
Measure H is the critical next step for Los Angeles.
Known as the “Los Angeles County Plan to Prevent and Combat Homelessness,” Measure H is the March 7th ballot measure that will invest $350 million/year over 10 years to provide comprehensive supportive services like mental health care and job training. With your help, we can make Los Angeles a safer place for tens of thousands of men, women and children. Because everyone needs a home.
“We support Measure H because it will help extend comprehensive support services to our city’s most vulnerable residents,” said John Maceri, Executive Director of The People Concern. “Permanent supportive housing plays a critical role in addressing issues of chronic homelessness in our community. Yet, it is equally imperative that we provide wraparound services to further stabilize those in need. And, Measure H will provide the funds necessary to help deliver those services in very meaningful ways.”
